• MJ’s Official Open Mic Night

Many musicians got a positive start due to MJ’s open mic. We’ve added a slight twist to make it more interesting but mostly to give musicians a head start on their new career.

• Get More Involved

MJ’s will again host more benefits to help support not only live music, but other organizations we all rely on who need more support than ever! Cancer Society, Food Banks, Disaster Relief, Local Schools, and more.

• BIGGEST GOAL…BECOME A TIP FREE VENUE!

MJ’s Blues and Dance club has removed all house tip jars. Now the audience can tip the musician without feeling obligated to donating to the venue. Even though venues such as MJ’s Blues rely on donations and tips, plus website revenue to help cover the high costs to support a venue like MJ’s, it’s more important to us to know you’re having a great time, the musician is having a great time, and everyone enjoys the atmosphere that surrounds MJ’s Blues and Dance Club

We’ll begin to record live concerts at MJ’s Blues, with performer permission naturally. Each week we will upload the one MJ’s Blues members like the most and post it as the Featured Video!
