We have discovered TJ was never seen at a pawn shop, yet found on film to have been involved in some sort of bank hist in Roswell New Mexico. Apparently the report of a sighting in a pawn shop was to throw us off their trail.

Blues Bro Bears (P.I.s) created by Sway Dench
Cap has hired these guys to locate our tip jar! We have been worried sick since the night it was taken.
As it stands, no one is absolutely sure they have actually seen the tip jar, however sent us reports anyway. Anything to help us find our beloved tip jar.
These 2 blues bears will begin their search first thing Sunday morning.
Please wish them all the luck you can muster.
If you have any information you think might help, please post it here. All your help is greatly appreciated and we can not thank you enough!

Tone Uriza, a blues performer in Second Life and in real life, returned to MJ's Blues on Saturday April 28th. Here's a little about Tone and his website; In 1999 Tony was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall Of Fame. His blues range from modern day to back in the day! He performs covers, but his originals are what keep the crowds coming back. His interaction with the audience is unlike any other performer we’ve seen. It wasn’t until March of 2007 that we met Tone inside Secondlife. His first real in-world gig was at MJ’s Blues on April 18th 2007 and it's been a perfect match ever since! Last night's concert took us back to the days Tone first... Read more »

I'm going to let you know what it is I look for in a musician I'm considering hiring inside Secondlife. If you're new to virtual venue ownership, or an artist wondering why gigs are hard to land, this might help. It's no secret that good talent is easy to find in world. When I scout new talent, it's a planned weekend out club hopping. Although, it takes more than a weekend to hear all the great musicians, we do what we can to get around. Me and CapnJac have a 3 song rule. After 3, we move onto the next act. Or, at least we try. We get as many gigs in per hour as we can, sticking to, or staying close... Read more »

David Csiszer joins the family at MJ's Blues! A Songwriter/Singer/Musician, David performs an unique array of original songs but still holds a soft spot for classic cover tunes! From alternative, acoustic rock to blues & jazz David's concerts are filled with passion and humor. We've been following David inside SL for a few years. Last night was such a treat! Having David there was like being home with old friends. David performed Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People, (if you were there, this is the carrot song...lol), Mad World, Tears from Heaven, and more favorites! He played U2's With or Without You, Eagles Hotel Cal, and on and on... MJ's Blues waited a long time to host a David... Read more »

MJ's Blues had the honor to host a show for SL's oldest blues performer, Mr. Charles E. Bristol. Tonight, Mr Bristol surprised us all with an amazing hour long set, just for us! AT just 90 years old, Charles is the oldest blues performer to play live inside Secondlife. He has performed at MJ's Blues a few time in the past, but it's been over a year since he was at MJ's. Last night was a great treat! Charles, one of 9 children, was born in 1921. As a native of Burke County, NC, he learned to sing and play guitar from his Mother and Father as they performed at churches, and local events. When Etherian Kamaboko contacted us on Sunday, asking if... Read more »

It's been a long time since Frets was at MJ's Blues last. I forgot how good he is, or he just got that much better! He's high energy and it blossoms in his shows. Tonight, Frets pretty much played what he wanted, and not by a play list. What he gave us tonight was purely electrifying and made you feel good all over! He played Pipeline, Immigrant Song, and Put a spell on you, and it didn't end there. He play some DJango style picking that had everyone cheering for more! This was a great performance by Frets and we look foward to doing it again in a few weeks!
